The high standards at Ascot continue in July with King George Day featuring The King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes. This is the top flat race in the world and draws the cream of horses racing on the world stage. Now in its 56th year, this race has produced some competitive finishes, none more so than the 2006 dual between Electrocutionist ridden by Frankie Dettori and the winner, Hurricane Run.
